Multidisciplinary review

Who this is for

• Cancer cases requiring surgical, medical and radiation oncology input
• Cases spanning more than one organ system, such as cardio-oncology or hepatorenal disease
• Decisions where operability, resectability or transplant candidacy is disputed
• Complex paediatric or rare disease presentations

What is included

• Two to four specialists from the relevant disciplines
• A recorded case conference summary with each contributor's position
• Consolidated recommendations, including where the panel could not reach consensus
• Comment on sequencing — for example neoadjuvant therapy before surgery versus upfront resection
• One follow-up review within 90 days if new results become available

How the review runs

1. Step 01

   Panel assembly

   We select specialists whose subspecialty interest matches the clinical question, avoiding any reviewer connected to your treating institution.

2. Step 02

   Case conference

   The panel reviews the structured case together, discusses divergent views and agrees the wording of the final opinion.

3. Step 03

   Consolidated report

   You receive one report, signed by each participating specialist, setting out the agreed position and any dissenting view.

Not included

• Formal tumour board registration with your local health service
• Provision of treatment, surgery or chemotherapy
• Guarantees of a particular clinical outcome
