Which records help most for each specialty
- Oncology
- Histopathology report with grade and receptor or biomarker status, staging imaging reports, MDT outcome notes and a record of prior lines of systemic therapy.
- Cardiology
- Echocardiogram report with ejection fraction, ECGs, angiography reports, troponin and natriuretic peptide results, and current cardiac medication with doses.
- Neurology
- MRI brain or spine reports, EEG or nerve conduction studies, cerebrospinal fluid analysis and a dated description of symptom evolution.
- Gastroenterology and hepatology
- Endoscopy and colonoscopy reports with biopsy histology, liver function tests, fibrosis assessment and inflammatory markers such as faecal calprotectin.
